Hello Friends!

 

Well...it's been a while since I've been here to update. Some of you may have wondered where I went. This afternoon I came home from a week long hospital admission and I am so GLAD to be back. It was not a fun experience at all...but one that was necessary for my well being, emotionally.

I have not shared this part of my life here..but I will share a little since this is a part of me and is very much a part of my life at the moment. For those that don't know, I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. I also became a mother at the young age of 14. It's been a challenge since I've started having memories a little over 2 years ago and has been a nightmare at times. Last week, memories and night terrors really put me in a dark place and I ended up in the psych. ward of the hospital on the morning of 3/2. Not the place I expected to be, but nonetheless, I found myself needing some extra care to get myself back on my feet so to speak. Overwhelming feelings of sadness and despair just washed over me.

I have a lot of work ahead of me but I am here and adjusting as best as I can. I am exhausted, feeling a bit uneasy and will spend most of today trying to rest and spend some time with the family. To those who have visited here and left messages in the last week, thank you, thank you soooooo much for stopping by. I've missed all  my friends...esp. those at Blessings...and can't wait to get back to you all.

Oh Lisa...so sorry...I do hope you are better now. I know it must be a long journey. My abuse was a Sunday School picnic compared to yours...but I still have my times of sadness too...just less often with time. I pray it will be so with you too....and the best part is the sadness of this life is only temporary, dear! Those who belong to God, well He will wipe those tears and sadness away, never to return again...when we go to be with Him in eternity! I am so sorry to hear that you were in the hospital. That saddened my heart. You are in my prayers.
And it was nice chatting with you yesterday afternoon before you went back to the hospital.
Your so precious to me, and oh how much more precious you are in the sight of the Lord.
And you just keep hanging in there, we know that by his stripes you are healed.
And let not you heart be trouble dear sweetie, but keep trusting, and hanging in there, and one day this will all be behind you in the name of Jesus.
Father God bless her this evening and I speak your sweet sleep to her. And we take authority over these thoughts that are coming at her, we rebuke the evil one and we put them back on him.
Bless her father, heal the pain in her body, the depression and anxiety that she is going through. We command those mountains to leave in Jesus name. And when people pray, mountains have to move out of the way.

It was when Matt asked you if you'd been praying for him. He told you he believed God did exist. He seemed happy. I understand that we need to get to a point.
